Cardano is the name of the blockchain. Created by blockchain experts and researchers, the name Cardano was given in honor of the Italian mathematician Gerolamo Cardano. ADA, in turn, is the name of the cryptocurrency of this blockchain. ADA is named after the English mathematician Ada Lovelace, who is considered the first programmer in history.
